At Brush On Block, we're dedicated to wearing our sunscreen every day. We use Brush On Block powders on face, neck, arms and hands, we use Sheer Genius with SPF 50 as our moisturizer or tinted moisturizer, and we love moisturizing our arms and legs with Bounce Butter. But when summer fun arrives, we wanted a convenient, full-body sunscreen for the beach, runs, pickle-ball courts or poolside lounging. We didn't want those mists of chemical sunscreens from years past – the ones that wafted through the air, coating everything nearby and irritating our throats. That wasn't our goal.
The Technology
Our research led us to a different kind of spray bottle called "Bag On Valve." Rather than an aerosol spray mixing sunscreen with potentially flammable propellants, the sunscreen sits inside a foil packet (similar to a children's drink pouch). Compressed air surrounds this pouch, squeezing the bag when you press the sprayer. Pure sunscreen emerges in a stream, not a mist, ready to be rubbed in.
How That Works Better For You
Because it dispenses as a stream of product, you'll notice it feels more moisturizing than traditional mists, which can feel tight and sticky as they dry. Our sprays come out as a white stream that you spread onto the skin, distributing moisture and antioxidants simultaneously. This is why we call our new products Spray On Lotions.

They spray on quickly, absorb rapidly as you spread them, leave no sticky residue, and spray continuously at any angle – even upside down, finally making it easy to protect the backs of your legs!
