FAQ
Make sure the brush is open before use. The smile icon should be visible when the brush is open. Then hold the brush with the bristles facing down and give it a few firm flicks to get the powder flowing. You should be able to see powder in the bristles and on the skin during application.
First, make sure the brush is open. The smile icon should be visible when the brush is open. Hold the brush with the bristles facing down and give it several firm flicks to move the powder into the brush head. You should be able to see powder in the bristles once it begins flowing. If needed, gently tap the brush against your wrist while holding it bristles-down. Once the powder is flowing, you're ready to apply.
Apply generously and buff the powder over all exposed skin. We recommend brushing each small area, such as half the face or one arm, for about 15 seconds to help ensure even coverage.
BOB KIDS can be used on children 6 months of age and older. We recommend that adults apply sunscreen to children under 6 years old. Kids over 6 can often apply BOB KIDS themselves. Designed to be fun and easy to use, BOB KIDS helps kids build healthy SPF habits and gain confidence applying sunscreen on their own.
Reapply at least every 2 hours. BOB KIDS is water and sweat resistant for up to 80 minutes, but should be reapplied after swimming, heavy sweating, or towel drying.
Yes. Because BOB KIDS is a mineral powder that sits on the skin's surface, there is little risk of it running or dripping into the eyes like some lotions or sprays. For smaller areas around the eyes and nose, slide the brush sleeve halfway up for more precise application. BOB KIDS can be lightly brushed around the eye area and over closed eyelids. As with any sunscreen, avoid getting the product directly into the eyes.
Yes. BOB KIDS can be applied anywhere that needs sun protection, including the face, ears, neck, arms, hands, legs, and shoulders. While the brush is great for quick touch-ups and on-the-go application, many families prefer our BOB KIDS Sun Lotion or BOB KIDS Mineral Spray-On Lotion for larger body areas, then use the brush for easy reapplication throughout the day.
No. To help prevent accidental spills and make application simpler for kids, BOB KIDS is not refillable.
BOB KIDS uses zinc oxide as its active ingredient for broad-spectrum SPF 30 protection. Unlike chemical sunscreen actives, zinc oxide sits on the skin's surface and is less likely to irritate sensitive skin.
