Travis Forrester Evans, Photographer & Brush On Block User
This holiday season we asked a few Brush On Block users why they love Brush On Block. Read on to see what photographer Travis Forrester Evans had to say!
I’m always on the go! I’m a photographer in Texas and I’m constantly battling the sun during outdoor photoshoots. Brush on Block® is a great solution to keeping my clients and I safe from the harmful rays of the sun.
On my days off, Brush on Block is perfect for kicking back on the front porch with a cup of Joe and a good book.
As for my daily get up and go routine, I love the ease of the brush applicator. The last thing I want to do after I put on on my daily moisturizer is rub another cream on face for sunblock. I love that Brush on Block is a weightless, transparent, mineral product. It exceeds my expectations for a daily sunblock product.
I love giving Brush on Block as gifts! It makes for a great stocking stuffer for anyone!
QUICK Q&A
Brush On Block: How did you find out about Brush on Block?
Travis Evans: My friend Alexcis and I were making our way home from a beach trip and started talking about how we hate layering on heavy/greasy sunblock creams over our daily moisturizer. We wanted something lightweight and easy to reapply throughout the day. So thanks to a few keyword searches I stumbled upon Brush on Block! I’ve never looked back.
BOB: What’s your top #skintip?
TE: Always stay hydrated and wear plenty of sunscreen... this might be the most cliché answer, but I have found it to be true! And get plenty of sleep.
If I’m needing a little skin pick me up in the morning, I put leftover smooth coffee grinds from my morning coffee under my eyes for 10 minutes, then rinse. It gives my skin the caffeine boost it needs when I’m lacking the zzz’s.
BOB: What is your favorite thing about Brush on Block?
TE: That would have to be the brush applicator. I love how easy it is to apply and reapply throughout the day! It's perfect for travel and everyday use!
BOB: What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?
TE: How can you choose just one? My favorite things about the holiday season are the smell of Christmas scented candles, bringing my friends and family together for my annual Christmas party, and mixing things up every year... whether it be, trying out new traditions or going to Vegas for Christmas (which I may or may not be doing this year).
